Persistence
Conversations saved to %APPDATA%/Gravity/sessions/ as JSON. Auto-saved after each turn.
- Each session = one JSON file with full message history
- Includes timestamps, model used, token counts
- Artifacts and tool results serialized with messages
- Atomic writes prevent corruption on crash
Export/Import
Sessions can be exported as JSON or Markdown for sharing or archival.
- JSON - Full fidelity, includes all metadata, importable
- Markdown - Human-readable, chat transcript only
- Access from session sidebar: right-click -> Export
- Import via command palette: "Import Session"
Sidebar Sessions Panel
Access from the activity bar (left sidebar). Shows:
- Session list with preview (first user message)
- Message count and last activity timestamp
- Search/filter by content
- Delete, rename, duplicate actions
- Pin important sessions to top
